Job description
Travel Territory Ambassador
Freelance · Monthly Retainer
Location: Key destinations across Chile and Argentina
San Pedro de Atacama · Puerto Natales · Easter Island · Wine Valleys · Iguazú · Mendoza · El Chaltén · Ushuaia
The Role
We’re looking for people who live deeply connected to their destination and can translate that lived experience into authentic storytelling.
This is not a traditional influencer role. It’s about becoming a local presence that understands the place from the inside out. We’re not interested in content that simply shows beautiful landscapes. We want content that helps people understand what it actually feels like to be there.
The goal is to build a consistent, ongoing territorial presence, not one-off campaigns.
What It Means to Be a Travel Territory Ambassador
You are the local voice who:
• Moves through the destination naturally and regularly
• Understands its rhythm, seasons, and subtle shifts
• Recognizes real, unscripted moments
• Speaks in first person from lived experience
• Provides cultural, environmental, and human context
We value depth over volume.
Responsibilities
• Create recurring content from your assigned destination
• Produce reels, stories, and photo carousels grounded in first-person narrative
• Speak clearly and confidently on camera
• Identify content opportunities based on what’s happening locally
• Join periodic remote strategy meetings with our team
• Contribute to shaping a cohesive editorial direction as the brand evolves
• Act as a long-term local partner
Experience & Benefits
This opportunity includes:
• Experiencing and reviewing local activities and excursions
• Staying at selected hotels and lodges within your region
• Early access to new openings and special initiatives
Content should come from genuine, firsthand experience.
As the project grows, there may be opportunities to:
• Visit additional destinations within Chile and Argentina
• Take part in exploratory trips
• Collaborate on special projects beyond your home base
This is not a static role. It’s a partnership that can expand alongside the brand.
Ideal Profile
• Permanent resident of one of the listed destinations
• Proven experience creating social media content
• Links to previous work required
• Strong storytelling ability
• Comfortable speaking on camera
• Able to explain experiences beyond what’s visually obvious
• Solid visual judgment
• Professional gear not required
Language
• Native English speaker from the U.S., Canada, UK, or Australia preferred
• Or true C2 fluency with natural spoken delivery
Our core audience is English-speaking. The narrative must feel natural and lived, not translated.
Background Preferred (not required)
• Local guide
• Explorer
• Photographer
• Territory-based professional
• Deep knowledge of local culture, history, and nature
• Ideally between 30 and 50 years old
We’re looking for narrative maturity, perspective, and the ability to provide context.
Structure
• Freelance engagement
• Monthly retainer
• Defined deliverables by format and volume
• Long-term collaboration
• Potential growth into broader strategic involvement
If this resonates with you and you feel deeply connected to your destination, we’d love to hear from you.
