At EcoChile Travel, our main goal has always been you: our customers and travelers. By working with the best suppliers, offering fair and trustworthy terms and conditions, and working closely with you to plan your trip, we aim to provide you with the best travel experience possible. 

Right now, with there being so much uncertainty about what the next few months will look like due to the novel coronavirus, we know how difficult it can be to commit to planning a trip. There are a lot of unknowns. For this reason, we have optimized our terms and conditions with regards to postponing or changing a trip in order to provide you with the greatest possible flexibility when booking a trip with EcoChile Travel. This way, you can book with full and total confidence.

Although we cannot predict what is going to happen with the coronavirus in the coming months, in Chile we are used to working under trying circumstances and triumphing over adversity. With that experience and knowledge, we are confident that, even in these uncertain times, we will continue to provide the most reliable and responsible services possible for our clients.

 


 

OUR PROMISE AND COMMITMENT TO FLEXIBILITY

 

Depending on the service providers (airlines, hotels, transport, guides) that are included in the itinerary, we will be able to deliver longer timeframes for relevant terms and conditions to enable you to reschedule your trip without penalties.This will depend on the terms and conditions that EcoChile maintains with each provider during the itinerary. For this reason, we will recommend the best options for your trip, and then establish flexible clauses and terms based on your travel dates, suppliers, and deposits.

Under these terms, first deposits will be 20%, an amount that may be rescheduled without penalty and used as credit for future trips.

These terms are valid for bookings made between March 15 and December 31, 2020If a trip is postponed, in the event of additional charges from our suppliers (e.g. hotel, airline, or land services charges) these will be charged at the time of rescheduling. Dates of these bookings may be rescheduled until December 31, 2022.

We have created a handful of new itineraries that are specifically designed for COVID-19-friendly travel. Among our new safety protocols that we require of all our suppliers, tours and transfers are only operated in small groups, and we use larger, more spacious vehicles that are regularly cleaned and sanitized. Apart from this, we only select activities and hotels that have strict social distancing policies.
